The second part of that family saga is available in the next issue, also online, with an account of Charles Monro, who brought rugby union to New Zealand and whom they refer to as the father of New Zealand rugby. Mention there too of his cousin General Charles Monro who commanded the evacuation from Gallipoli, the only successful part of that disastrous campaign.
